Bachelor Party Mistakes: Revealing the Bachelor’s Identity to Everyone

Yes, the bachelor has found the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. While he may not necessarily be trying to hide this fact, he probably won’t want his status as the soon-to-be groom made known to everyone you meet. Here’s why screaming, “He’s the bachelor!” everywhere you go and pointing out the groom is a bachelor party don’t.

#1 – It’s supposed to be the groom’s last night of freedom, not a time to replay the minute details of his upcoming nuptials. This is supposed to be a wild night, an evening to bend the rules and let loose. Be forewarned…once you identify the bachelor, he will be stuck answering a lot of questions, including how he proposed, what the bride’s dress looks like, if the ceremony will be in a church, where they are going on their honeymoon, how they met, etc. Is that what you want, for the groom or yourself? Yeah, we didn’t think so.

#2 – A bachelor party is a time for the groom to forget about the wedding for a while. Wedding planning is more stressful than most people realize. It can cause rifts in relationships and disagreements between family members. Give the groom some time to blow off some steam and forget about any wedding-related problems for a few hours. An important part of this is not mentioning the wedding to everyone.

#3 – The groom may not want people to know he’s the one getting married. And by people, we mean attractive women who may happen to be out at the night clubs. Your buddy will only ever have one bachelor party, so give him a break.

#4 – Read the Bachelor Party Mistakes lists before you start planning the event.
