Why Montreal’s Strip Clubs are Better Than Vegas’s

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

Those who promote Vegas’s strip clubs would have you believe that they are the best in the world, but is that actually true? How do Montreal’s strip clubs compare to those found in “sin city?” Well, in many ways they’re better, and here’s why:

They offer full-contact options: Get a private dance in Las Vegas, and it’s strictly hands-off. In Montreal, however, full-contact lap dances are perfectly legal. You’re free to touch your private dancer in most places (there are a few exceptions) as she performs just for you. Add this to the fact that lap dances in Montreal are typically about half as much as they are in Vegas, and it’s clear which option most men would choose.

They’re not hidden away in some remote part of the city: When you’re in Vegas, going to a strip club can be a real chore. Most of them are hidden away from the strip and area hotels, so just getting there can be a hassle, not to mention a significant expense. In Montreal, strip clubs are as much a part of the downtown area as its theaters, restaurants, and shops. Finding a gentleman’s club is as easy as taking a stroll down the street.

They’re more affordable in general: Vegas’s strip club prices can leave you feeling taken advantage of and gouged, emotions you likely won’t experience when you go out in Montreal. In fact, you’ll probably be surprised at just how affordable dances, drinks, and cover charges actually are here.

Bottom line: Vegas’s strip clubs simply can’t compete with the high quality, easy to find, affordable, and oh so racy adult establishments of Montreal.

Bachelor Show

bachelor show

Going to a strip clubs is definitely one of the staples of a bachelor party especially in Montreal. One popular thing to do at the Montreal strip clubs is to have a bachelor show on stage at the strip club.  A bachelor show is always pre arranged with the establishment ahead of time and usually cost any where from $150-200. While it is pricy it is almost always worth it. For a bachelor show the strip club DJ will call out the bachelor’s name and instruct him go up on stage where there are 2-3 strippers are waiting for him. The show usually starts out as an innocent lap dance however the Montreal strippers slowly start strip the bachelor down till he is in nothing but his underwear. The bachelor is then instructed to lay down on his stomach. At this point the innocence of the show starts to fade as the girls usually expose the bachelors rear end and proceed to whip it with his bent. Let me tell you some of these girls can whip, you can pretty much count on some nice red marks that the bachelor will have a hard time explaining to his fiance. It never gets old seeing the expressions on the bachelor’s face as he is getting abused on stage. The shows do vary from club to club, some like to tie up the bachelor or parade him like a dog (depicted above).

The purpose of this is of course to embarrass the bachelor in front of all your buddies and everyone else at the club. After all often a bachelor party is as much for those attending as it is for the bachelor. while this is all done in the spirit of having a little fun, it is important to note that the bachelor show is not suitable for every bachelor. While it might seem like a good idea to all of those attending it may not be to the bachelor. I have seen a few bachelors gather their clothes from the stage and run straight out of the club, which can ruin the party. That is why you must really get a feel for how the bachelor will react to the situation. After all, The bachelor is someone you do care about.
