Bachelor Party Montreal

They say Pro Wrestling is all bravado, but it can also be a great marketing tool, and I’d like to think this recent statement by wrester Christian Cage will help get the word out about the Montreal strip club scene.

“…I’m glad to be back in Canada, the greatest country in the world. Montreal has the hottest women in the world. … After we finish beating your asses, me and the Canadian Dynamite are going to hit one of the famous Montreal Strip clubs, because that’s (the crowd finished for him) How I Roll!”

Now if only some Hollywood celebrities or politicians could give us exposure like that, anyone got the Governator’s number?

Your friends have all shown up for the party, but someone goofed and the stripper didn’t show. Accidents like that are probably what started the bachelor party planning industry. Letting someone else handle the details of a bachelor party is clearly appealing when making arrangements on your own can go bad very easily, not to mention the hassle of dealing with strippers with a weddings just around the corner.

Montreal has no shortage of these services, but it doesn’t have a shortage of strippers either; a good planning service is one that can bring in all the extras rather then just the basics. This may just be me, but I’d rather have my bachelor party with a little style and class, rather then feeling cheaped out on what’s supposed to be a wild weekend.

Came across this website  the other day and – don’t get me wrong – but they seemed to have left out one of the key ingredients in a bachelor party, the girls! This could be debated by some, but I think a wild bachelor party should always be part of a guy’s last night of freedom. This all looks to be part of a growing trend that seems to be missing the point, I mean; they do call it a bachelor party. I’ll go white-water rafting with the guys when I’m married until then I’d prefer a night at the Montreal strip clubs.

Through my many years of planning and throwing bachelor parties i have come to realize that a bachelor party is a very sacred thing. Not only is it sacred but it is a right of passage for all men. Its the only time with a group of buddies get to kick back and have some uninhibited fun. While there are a lot less rules on a bachelor party there are rules. The major rule for a bachelor party is “What happens at the bachelor party STAYS at the bachelor party”. This might seem obvious to most there are always one or two individuals who feel the need to spill the beans. Due to this there is a bachelor party oath which i highly recommend you have everyone in attendance Sign.

I recently came by an article at AskMen.com (one of my favorite websites) that was listing the top bachelor party destinations in the world. While Vegas was of course number one, Montreal came in second place, and Rightfully so! Montreal is indeed one of the best bachelor party cities around with its numerous strip clubs and excellent nightlife.

The previous post about the bachelor show reminded me of a funny story. I planned one of a my buddies had a bachelor party a few years back here in Montreal. The bachelor was one of these guys who was always playing practical jokes on people. being his bachelor party he was well aware they we were going to pull some type of prank, so he was very cautious during the whole party. Like all great bachelor parties we wound up at the strip club at the end of the night. The bachelor had been to a few parties in Montreal before so he was well aware of the bachelor show. While there was no real surprise factor with the show he was willing to be a good sport and go on stage and take his lickings. Since he was going on stage we figured this would be the best time to pull a prank on him. What could be do to him that would be more embarrassing than being on stage in your underwear?  How about being caught on stage in your underwear with a massive erection? that’s embarrassing and is exactly what we did to the bachelor. An hour or before he was due to go on stage we crushed up an elephant sized Viagra and put it in his gin and tonic. The beauty of this is that for some reason drinks with gin in them are blue under the black lights of the strip club, so there was no way he could see the Viagra. The prank worked perfectly. the bachelor went up on stage and when they ripped off his pants you could see his soldier standing at attention. The bachelor was so embarrassed. The best part was he did not suspect it was a prank but rather it was more due to him being drunk and not being able to control himself.

As i commented yesterday, i strongly feel that Montreal is the ideal city for a bachelor party.  While some people know about Montreal a large majority of the people have never been to Montreal and are usually hesitant to come. Like wise i always find the same people become Montreal’s biggest fan after one visit. So what makes Montreal so great? Simply put whatever your vise is Montreal has it in both quantity and quality. Askmen.com has even placed Montreal in the number two spot on the top ten bachelor party destinations citing

“Montreal is unarguably one of the best bachelor party locations in the world. Take a walk down Crescent Street or St. Laurent Boulevard and you’ll see hordes of beautiful women from all over the world, a slew of trendy bars and nightclubs, and most importantly, renowned strip clubs visited by many bachelor parties”

To me Montreal is the real sin city. Las Vegas is officially dubbed Sin city however much like its title the entire city has been constructed that way. Unlike Las Vegas and its strip of hotels the whole city has an atmosphere perfect for bachelor parties. A perfect example of this are the Montreal strip clubs. there are over 32 strip clubs dispersed across the downtown area. The strip clubs is only one part of Montreal that makes the city the ideal host for a bachelor party. I will be writing more articles about Montreal in the very near future.

I’ve been to parties in ever destination one can imagine: Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Miami, Vancouver, Cancun, NYC, etc, and in my opinion Montreal is the ideal city for a bachelor party. While I’m a huge fan of Montreal there are tons of people out there who know little about this city.
