When you head to Quebec, most if not all members of your Montreal bachelor party will likely enter the province with a cell phone. In a perfect world, everyone would leave these annoying devices at home and enjoy the freedom of being disconnected for a while. That’s not going to happen, but there are some rules of cell phone etiquette that should be observed during Montreal bachelor parties:
• Checking in during a Montreal bachelor party should be limited: You came to Montreal to have fun, not answer a million questions every five hours from the jealous girls at home. A couple of cell phone calls during the Montreal bachelor party should be sufficient. More than once a day is way too much.
• When you’re going out to enjoy the Montreal nightlife, the phone stays behind: That also goes for Montreal strip clubs, Montreal restaurants, activities, etc. Nothing is that important it can’t wait until you get back to your Montreal hotel room.
• No drunk dialing: She’s mad anyway, so don’t call her at three in the morning after a dozen tequila shots to tell her all about your night at the Montreal strip clubs. Can you say stupid?
• No background noise: When someone’s checking in during a Montreal bachelor party, do him a favor and just stay quiet. No shouting incriminating things and no trying to make him laugh.
Following these rules yourself and sharing them with others will ensure cell phones are used appropriately (and ideally sparingly) during your Montreal bachelor party. For help with every other aspect of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration trust Montreal VIP.

Admit it…at least once in your life you’ve had a genius plan that ended in disaster. Well, here’s another “brilliant” idea that sounds good in theory but rarely goes smoothly: having a co-ed Montreal bachelor/Montreal bachelorette party. There are so many reasons why these two momentous celebrations shouldn’t be combined…
Women (like elephants) never forget: So you had a tad too much to drink and got a little obnoxious. Or maybe you flirted with a bartender at a Montreal nightclub. Guys won’t even remember the stupid things their fellow Montreal bachelor party attendees did in a month. (Or if they do, they’ll have the good manners not to mention them). If a guy’s wife or girlfriend is there to witness it you can bet she’ll still be bringing it up in 20 years.
The whole “doing your own thing” thing won’t happen: You might say the two groups can go their separate ways for much of the getaway. Perhaps you’re envisioning the guys heading to the Montreal stripclubs while the Montreal bachelorette party ladies go to a club or relax in the Montreal hotel suite. Reality check…you’re delusional.
Women talk: The code of silence seems to be an unfamiliar concept to most women. Information that was supposed to be top secret will get out…you can bet on it.
If you bring the gals along for your Montreal bachelor party, you’re taking your chances. The best decision is to leave them behind. It’s the only way to ensure you’ll get to experience those legendary full-contact lap dances at the Montreal stripclubs. Otherwise, you might only get to walk by them on your way to the ballet.

Planning Surprises for the Groom During a Montreal Bachelor Party: Which Ones are Okay and Which Ones go Too Far?
Surprises are an important part of many Montreal bachelor parties. It’s fun to watch the groom squirm a little while he tries to anticipate exactly what’s in store for him. That being said, there are some surprises that are okay and some that are simply too much.

Guys having a great time at a Montreal bachelor party
Surprise guests: During a bachelor party in Montreal, you can surprise the groom with one or more unexpected attendees.
Okay: Anybody on the groom’s guest list is fair game…a cousin, a college buddy, or a childhood pal.
Too far: Having the groom’s ex-girlfriend or soon-to-be bride jump out of a cake seems hilarious when you see it on television, but in real life it could ruin the entire weekend.
Surprise female entertainment: If you know the groom is okay with Montreal stripclubs and dancers, you should definitely consider one or more surprises in this category.
Okay: Hiring a Montreal stripper to come to your Montreal hotel room, arranging for a special stage show at a Montreal stripclub, purchasing an adult entertainment option from Montreal VIP, or just letting the groom enjoy a few lap dances on his buddies are all fantastic ideas.
Too far: Hiring a “working girl” is usually not an acceptable surprise. Remember, most grooms have no intentions of actually cheating on the bride. This surprise will make for a really awkward situation.
Surprise activities: The groom can be kept in the dark about some or all of the itinerary details.
Okay: Feel free to plan anything you know the groom would enjoy.
Too far: Steer clear of mean-spirited surprises. For example, if the groom is terrified of water don’t plan a white water rafting expedition.

Montreal is a city where you can find bargain basement accommodations and royal suites that will run you hundreds per night. When you’re choosing a Montreal hotel for a Montreal bachelor party, should you be looking to scrimp or splurge? Here are some questions that can help you decide:
• Place to flop or oasis away from it all? As the organizer of the Montreal bachelor party, you know your group best. Are you likely to sit in for an evening and sip champagne or will you constantly be on the go? If you just plan to use your Montreal hotel to shower and sleep off your hangover from the night before, you can probably get away with spending less on this aspect of your Montreal bachelor party.
• Pick-ups permitted or all-guys getaway? Are there any single guys in your Montreal bachelor party group (or guys planning to act single in the city)? If there’s a chance your Montreal hotel room might be used for intimate encounters you better make sure it’s a nice one.
• Big spenders or budget-conscious guys? If the finances for your Montreal bachelor party are a little tight, budget accommodations are an excellent way to save money. On the other hand, if money is no object why not rest easy in a presidential suite during your trip?
Our Montreal hotel guide features Montreal hotels ranging from basic two-star Montreal hotels to opulent five-star architectural wonders. If you need some help, Montreal VIP can also recommend higher-end Montreal hotels for your Montreal bachelor party group that are conveniently located downtown and suitable for the VIPs that make up our clientele.

Montreal Bachelor Party Planning: When to Inform the Bride-to-be About the Event
One of the trickiest parts of planning a Montreal bachelor party is telling the bride-to-be about the upcoming event. If you wait until the last minute she could turn into a scary bridezilla, but informing her too early is no good either. For your convenience, we’ve broken this tiny but important matter into three categories. Remember, when it comes to informing the blushing bride about the upcoming rendezvous, timing is everything!
Too far in advance: Letting the bride know about the Montreal bachelor party months before the event is never a wise idea. The more notice she has, the more time she’ll have to work the members of your group for information, arrange for spies, or even concoct a scheme to prevent the event from taking place.
Too close to the departure date: When it comes to women, there’s a subtle difference between running an idea by them and telling them something is going to happen. Informing the bride about a Montreal bachelor party just a few days before the event is likely to get her mad because it will look as though the groom doesn’t care what she has to say about it. She might even get angry enough to invent a wedding planning “emergency” that can’t be rescheduled. Prepare to hear the words, “If only I’d known about this sooner.”
Just right: Two to three weeks’ notice should be enough for most reasonable brides. She’ll get to feel like she’s being asked for permission, but hopefully won’t have enough time to infiltrate the group or throw a wrench into any plans.

3 Ways to Ruin a Montreal Bachelor Party
A Montreal bachelor party often proves to be one of life’s most memorable events, both for the groom and the close friends who accompany him to sin cite. There are, however, some things that can instantly transform a bachelor party from something spectacular into an event everyone would rather forget. Here are a few ways to ruin even the most carefully planned Montreal bachelor party every time:
Bring the wives and girlfriends: Who thought up the idea of co-ed bachelor parties? Our guess is a whipped man or – more likely – a bride-to-be. We all love our girls, but leave them at home when bachelor party time arrives. No matter how cool and laid back they are, they’ll turn jealous and possessive the moment your group walks into a full-contact Montreal strip club. Trust us on this one.
Invite the big mouth: Nobody can relax at a bachelor party when there’s a guy around who simply can’t keep his mouth shut. You can’t let loose or do anything too irresponsible because you know everyone back home will hear about it.
Let the wuss tag along: It’s amazing these guys even go to events like bachelor parties, because it’s clear they never have a good time. He’ll be whining that he’s tired by 10 p.m. and complaining that his feet are sore from standing every time you go out to partake in the Montreal nightlife. Worst of all, he’ll want the entire group to call it a night just because he can’t hack it. Do everyone – including him – a favor. Leave his name off the guest list!

The Montreal Bachelor Party Aftermath: Making Things Right Before the Big Day
If you come home from your bachelor party in Montreal and it seems like your future bride is a little distant, you’re probably not imagining things. She says she’s “fine,” but experienced men know that’s female speak for “I’m absolutely fuming but I’m not going to tell you why because you should know.” Obviously, you want to smooth things over after a Montreal bachelor party in time for the wedding. Here are four tips to help you do it:
Just shut up about it already: Every time you mention your recent trip to Montreal, you’re making things worse. She starts picturing the debauchery and feeling jealous she wasn’t included all over again. Don’t mention the Montreal bachelor party around your darling bride, and tell your boys to stay tight-lipped too.
Help with the wedding planning: If you’re looking for an easy way to suck up, offer to accompany her to the florist to choose a bouquet or spend some time looking at linens for the reception hall. Caution: This is only a good tactic if you will be able to appear genuinely interested in flowers and tablecloths.
Be a homebody for a few weekends: Stay out of the nightclubs and spend some quality time with her. Stress how much more fun it is to cuddle and watch movies with her instead of going out to some loud bar.
Make plans to take her to Montreal: One of the best ways to make up is to show the bride what Montreal (minus the strip clubs) is all about. If you had your Mont

The People you Did Not Invite to the Montreal Bachelor Party: How to Deal
Unfortunately, not everyone who expects to be invited to bachelor parties will be. Here are a few options for dealing with the guys who, for whatever reason, didn’t quite make the cut:
Keep the Montreal bachelor party a secret: Think hard before you decide to go with this option, because it means you can never speak of this legendary event in the company of others. It’s a good choice if your bachelor party group is small or you don’t see the people you chose not to invite on a regular basis.
Tell them the reasons they weren’t invited: If you choose this approach, it’s best not to be honest. Uncle Jim is not likely to understand if you tell him he wasn’t invited because he can’t be trusted to keep his big mouth shut or because everyone felt he’d scare away the strippers. Instead, tell him you knew he lost his job and didn’t want to put him on the spot, or that you heard he was afraid of flying. Use whatever excuse you can…just make sure you come off as a concerned friend doing the non-invitee a favor.
Have the best man take the fall for the groom: This is perfect if the best man doesn’t know the guys who weren’t invited. The groom can tell his college buddy he put him on the guest list, but the best man made a mistake and booked for 10 people instead of 11. Unfortunately, the reservations were finalized before anyone noticed the screw up. If only the best man would learn how to count.

Why Women Hate Bachelor Parties
Just the term bachelor party is enough to put a scowl on most women’s faces. But why? What is it about bachelor parties that instantly raises suspicions and causes moods to turn from sunny to sour? Women might give you a hundred reasons why they hate these pre-wedding events, but they usually fall under one of the following three categories:
Women are jealous: Let’s be honest. In many cases, bachelorette parties are pretty lame compared to bachelor parties, and that’s if the maid of honor decides to organize a celebration at all. Either way, you’re getting something she isn’t. Women don’t like that. It’ll awaken the green-eyed monster every time. She might call your bachelor party stupid, childish, and an extreme waste of money, but deep down she’s wishing someone would care enough to organize a huge bash for her.
Women know what men are like: Our significant others realize that when guys get together for a bachelor party, a pack mentality takes over. They know that their normally (somewhat) sensible guys will be pounding back the booze, getting rowdy, and going to strip clubs. Say what you want about women, but they’re not naive when it comes to what happens during bachelor parties.
Women don’t trust us: “It’s not you I don’t trust…” She might finish this off in several ways, such as “it’s your friends,” “it’s the strippers,” or “it’s the alcohol.” No matter how she phrases it, what she really means is “I don’t trust you.” Bachelor parties make women uneasy because they offer men so many opportunities to do things they shouldn’t.
